Definitely not more than UWS or UES... Glendale has a high concentration of elderly people as well along with Ridgewood. It would be great if younger families moved into FH to give it the boost it needs instead we're seeing new owners come in and quickly slap something together and add chrome and gold tone canopies and handrails to every home. It's gross.
Is it finally finished?!
ReplyDeleteFinished and within 12 hours, a man was trapped inside of it for 25 minutes and then shut down again for a day of repairs...
ReplyDeleteYeah, but i won't be using it anytime soon.

So we'll just have to take our chances and hope we won't be the next ones trapped....bring a good book and a snack when taking these elevators.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that. My mother uses a walker; she can't do subway stairs. She's been looking forward to this elevator for months.
ReplyDeleteVery surprised it took this long to build this, considering I have seen more elderly people here in Forest Hills than in other parts of the city.
