There had been reports of a Paris Baguette opening in FH earlier in the year. If you check the DOB application of this space it has the same filing rep and applicant/architect as the PB in rego park that opened earlier this year.
Paris Baguette would still be a big improvement over the usual kind of stuff that has been opening here lately (bank, salon, urgent care). Pret a Manger would be great there but they seem to want to stick to Manhattan.
Live across the street from them - have not seen any activity since early August. Looks abandoned again in there, I was so hopeful but now I totally gave up on them opening and the sooner they're out of there the better, they're just taking up space now when maybe something great could actually open there.
Why don't stores advertise before they open? Couldn't they put up a sign saying, "Hi, such and such store opening soon?" Never understood why this doesn't happen...is it some legal issue? Very strange to me.
I know I've said this before, but please let it be something good!
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be a leather goods store.

ReplyDeleteThey were doing work in Guantanamerica today. Tables are set. Looks like the opening is imminent.
ReplyDeletePlease more places to eat out! We eat out constantly. Weekends in FH Austin so crowded - we need more.
ReplyDeleteAny chance we can still get this? I'd love a pret to come to FH!
