  5. Does anyone think this will affect 5 Burro? Or are they different enough to both survive?

    1. Completely different experience. It will have no impact on 5 Burro. It will have an impact on fast food places, pizza places and food carts.

    2. I think it will have some impact. Though the 5 Burro experience is more of a social one, and Chipotle is more of a take-out or quick solo meal one. Even so, I did take out a few times from 5 Burro when I really wanted my Mexican food fix. When Chipotle opens, when it's just me eating alone and not in a group, Chipotle is the no-brainer. So, for that kind of take-out food, I think it will cut into the Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood. But they didn't even deliver before so it can't be a huge part of their business anyway.

    3. Bareburger always had patrons so I expect Chipotle to have them as well, location should do okay.

Construction still ongoing in the area in multiple locations, but hopefully they can pull back on regulations and make it easier to build. Some areas been stalled for a long time, and will eventually get built out and hopefully we will see an economic recovery in the future with the right leadership after the next elections.
