First Presidential Debate

These debates are always surprising. They never seem to turn out the way people expect. It will be interesting to see what effect it has on the election. My prediction: very little. I don't think the people in Ohio who have had their jobs saved by Obama care much about a debate. They care that Obama saved their jobs. And that, my friends, is what will turn out to be all that matters.

  1. Saved their jobs? LOL. You really are in a fantasy world, "Drake" I'm a registered Democrat but i'll even admit that Obama got his ass kicked in the debate. He'll still win the election, but in the end, Obama is just a man (not a God) serving his corporate masters like every president before him. You just vote for the lesser evil.

  2. Obama spent a ton of money in the earliest 'heavy spend' ever in an attempt to define Romney as some cross between Gordon Gecko and Thurston Howell. The strategy backfired so badly in good part due to the fact that Romney acquitted himself VERY well and most found him to be neither Gecko nor Howell III.

    1. Actually that 47 percent comment was pretty Thurston Howell

  3. Which is why it's so odd that Obama never brought it up.

Again, though, I think he came off as being surprisingly Presidential when most people were expecting arrogance or ineptitude.

    1. Not quite sure which guesses you're referring to.

If you're referring to my prediction above, sorry but I haven't seen anything to change my initial prediction from like a year ago that this election will be an easy reelection victory for President Obama.

      Thanks for commenting though.
