If you call their phone number it says the number is not in service. I have never seen this business open either and based on what was there last I suspect this is another elaborate "art" installation but with absolutely no self-promotion.

  3. What's with all of the graffiti in our community all of a sudden?
Looks like it's one person committing most of it.

  5. Any news on the Austin St Apple Store that was mentioned around 9 months ago?

    1. No one ever said it would necessarily be on Austin St. and... the only person claiming it would happen was a local real estate developer. As a result, many people doubted it would ever come to pass. We never had any confirmation from Apple itself. Not saying it will never happen, but there's no evidence it will at this time.

  6. Nanoosh (an organic hummus restaurant) should move into the vacant Alexandra store on Austin Street.

    1. Sure, an organic hummus restaurant needs that huge space. Should work out perfectly.

  7. With all the new bar/restaurants opening: the beer hall next to McDonalds, the flying pig in teh old Johnny Rockets, Staples turning into Buffalo Wild Wings and Old Vienna (eventually) turning into an irish bar, this is golden age for ppl who like to go out and eat and drink.

    1. Buffalo Wild Wings?? Where is that information from?

  8. A few people. Drake mentioned it, and someone who knows the comings and goings of the neighborhood told me.

  9. What is the deal with tie place on Austin? They sell ties. Ties. It is always empty. How are they still open?

    1. They also sell on the internet. Maybe that's it. But at least they're open, unlike that bizarre Aminence place a few doors down.

  10. He sells a lot of them online at overstock.com

  11. I poked my head in the tie shop to ask about the Aminence place during the holidays since I couldn't understand why every time I went by it it was closed. The guy who runs the tie shop said the woman only opens the store during the week and it closes by 6 or something. I guess she must not need to sell anything. I hope it's not just an art installation, because if it is, it's pointless.

  12. I'd like to thank whoever is responsible for getting the 112th precinct to stop parking their vehicles on the sidewalks of Yellowstone Boulevard.
