Reader Contributions

A bunch of info from various readers:

  • An "All care animal clinic" to include grooming and boarding is opening on the corner of Queens Blvd. and 68th Drive.
  • The popular Bann Thai restaurant on Austin St. has closed (several readers have contacted me about this and I don't have any more information other than that it closed. No idea why.)
  • A new business, "A Little Personalized" is opening in the former Homefront space at 72-24 Austin Street. The business specializes in adding names and monograms to gift items for all ages.
  • Banter will be doing Thanksgiving and Christmas seatings.
  • And Forest Hills Station House is now serving brunch.

  1. Thanks. Any idea what brunch items they're serving at Stationhouse?

  2. Loved Bann Thai and can't understand how that crappy Forest Hills diner next to the police station still survives despite serving mediocre food. Guess the cops prefer to eat the grub there.

  3. "A little personalized" Are you kidding me? Who are these people with boats of cash (for the high rent) who think of these stupid ideas for businesses.

    1. I know, I agree. This is like one of those lame stores you come across in a mall.
