The Eagle Has Landed

Look what just popped up at the corner of 71st Continental Ave. and Austin Street? This cool-looking monolith provides free wifi and other communications and information services to the public. Read all about it at the LinkNYC website.

  1. Glad we don't have to look at those old, dirty, dilapidated phone booths anymore!!!

  2. These are the best! For homeless people to watch porn and teenagers to play music on.

    1. What's your point exactly? That homeless people don't deserve access to porn? How do you figure?

    3. Hey, if you do? They do.

Slightly off topic, but I've had about enough of homeless bashing. Many of those people are mentally ill and ALL of them are victims. It is neither classy nor funny.

    4. I don't think anyone on here has a problem with these people in general. People are just fed up with the enormity of the problem, the fact that they have built encampments all over (E train, certain subway stops, blocks, etc), the city is not doing a great job with any of it and who even knows if these people were ever from here in the first place.
