Cobblestones Beer Garden is slated to open in April 2018. According to the most reliable source. In other news, Guantanamera lost its financing and is not opening after all. P.S. I would wait for Bully to get a grade from DOH in the window first, before they take any ambitious steps like opening a rooftop.
OMG, the Guantanamera news is heartbreaking if it's true. They came very far in their year long renovation, so close to opening but I have noticed like NO activity over the last 3 weeks. That's good news for Matiz but bad for us because Guantanamera is a top notch place - I have been to their Manhattan location many times, we will be missing out. Maybe we can get another bank in that space!!!!!
According to the September agenda for CB6, Spy C applied for a liquor license. I don't think Chinese takeout places usually bother with selling alcohol or the expense of getting a license, so this makes me think it will be a small sit-down. The horrible punny name suggests Szechuan food.
Rude posters here. Keep the food links coming EOC. ignore those who complain. asian, med, who cares, better than a bank or nail salon and we can see people hanging out there!!!
Any update on the cobblestones beer garden or the rooftop garden at Queens Bully? FH really needs more outdoor bars/restaurants.
ReplyDeleteThe name is awful!! Big turn off

ReplyDeleteWhat is the news? The tablecloths are already on the table. Do we know anything other than that nothing seems to be happening?

ReplyDeleteShould be glad it's not another Medeterranian restaurant. Have you seen Metropolitan?
