MacDonald Park in Springtime

Just some pics I shot the other day while hanging out in our increasingly pretty local park. As I tweeted at the time I took these, you can almost forget you're sitting right next to 12 lanes of traffic the park has become so beautiful. Thanks to all the dedicated people—including a large number of dedicated local volunteers, by the way—who continue to improve this small but vital piece of public parkland smack dab in the middle of Forest Hills.

Spring Has Sprung!

Happy to say I got the Spring Fever today. And Bryant Park was hopping and looking quite Springy.... Oh, and that last pic is just to remind us that Summer Movie Season officially kicks off in a couple of weeks -- though I have my money on Godzilla. Tired of the Spiderman.

Yes, this is indeed my favorite time of year. A great time to be in The Big Apple.

Early Spring in Central Park

No one serves up spring quite like Central Park. A couple of scenes from this past weekend--you know, before winter returned. Talk about a guest that doesn't get the hint that it's time to leave! Jeez! Fingers crossed that we've seen the last of the really cold weather and can now look forward to some normal spring weather.

Spring Scenes

Some pics of the Central Park Conservatory Garden from yesterday. If you've never been, now's the time to trek up to 105th St. and Fifth Ave. in Manhattan and check it out:
