  1. Totally blame security at the theatre. It is easy to track and find guns before they harm other individuals.

I went to an event to meet someone in particular, never had a gun on me, never had a weapon and yet security immediately flagged me down for ID and asked if I had a weapon on me.

Security was amiss and incidents like this shouldn't happen with appropriate safeguards. It is easy to spot a troublemaker in the crowd to prevent incidents before they happen.

  2. He entered the theater through an emergency exit so he wouldn't have been caught upon entry. Besides, it's ridiculous to say that the theater should have had metal detectors or security measures. What's next, pat downs at the mall? Having a wand pass over me at the gap? This would never had happened if guns were illegal. Don't anyone dare say that if someone in there was armed, he/ she would have stopped the attack. In a crowded and dark theater in chaos and filled with tear gas, another gun in the mix would have killed even more innocent people. stupid republicans and their fight to have every nut job who wants an ak47 armed. I can't imagine why anyone would need such high powered weapons, unless of course they were planning on killing a multitude of people.
