The Latest on the Forest Hills Inn

Michael Perlman writes about the maneuverings by different parties wishing to bring new development to the Forest Hills Inn at Station Square: Controversy brewing at Forest Hills Inn

Boy, wouldn't it be beautiful to have public use of the Tea Garden again? It just sits there dilapidated. What a waste.

  1. I would love to see new developments at the Inn, but just like WSTC stadium, not if it comes at the expense of destroying history.

  2. Downsizing of the lobby for commercial I don't agree with. Enhancements to the original facade and design need to stay there.

  3. Although I value the history of the building and don't think it should be altered for commercial use, the lobby is so dark and depressing - it's like being on the set of "The Shining".

  5. OMG - Anonyous on April 12, I thought the same thing! I went to an open house in the building and I couldn't get out fast enough. It gives me the creeps just thinking about it.
