El Coyote Update

For all those who have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the Forest Hills location of El Coyote. we will all unfortunately have to wait a bit longer. The owners of this new Mexican restaurant, located upstairs in the 'Austin St. Mall' complex tell me it could be a month or two more before the Forest Hills location opens as they work to secure the permits they need.

But, they also remind everyone that their Jackson Heights location is very open for everyone to visit! :)

  1. I like this place - but the opening is a total fail; missing the summer season! Who doesn't want Margaritas and Sangria in the hot weather.

Have to settle for Cabana in the meantime...good food, mediocre crowd, poor food...

  4. Never cared for that location . It's not too visible and you have to climb steps or take elevator. I have bad knees so I tend to avoid climbing. Hope they do eventually open but sounds like they are having problems. Hope they can afford the high rent.

    1. Like you mentioned, they have an elevator. If you have bad knees, that's what the elevator is for, so you don't have to climb stairs. Your post makes absolutely no sense.

  5. I just love how people are so negative already and the place hasn't even been opened. I guess it's better to have a vacant store front?
