... on its three year anniversary today! Banter was among the first of the new wave of restaurants that have changed the food scene in central Forest Hills over the past few years. (They've also saved me a lot of money from having to constantly hop the subway into Manhattan every time I wanted a decent meal! And for that I'd like to say a hearty thank you!)
Long live Banter! Let's hear it for Springtime and the imminent return of Banter's outdoor tables which somehow always seem tranquil and inviting even on the corner of QB!
ReplyDeleteThat's great, but no coverage of the changes on Metropolitan? The opening/closing/re-opening of Aignier/Krause's, the new natural grocery store next to the old Sizzler, Silk Cakes, the Peruvian place...? Forest Hills is more than Austin Street. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteA) nobody cares about a chocolate store that has changed over about 6 times in 5 years.
DeleteB) there is nothing new with Silk Cakes
C) the Peruvian place has been open for awhile already, and
D) who cares about another natural grocery store that's also been there for quite a bit already. Just saying.
