Yes, in reply to the reader who was asking - Forest Hills is getting a Chinese restaurant in the former Knish Nosh space. Thanks to Stacey for tweeting me the news and photo!

Unrelated to the new Chinese place, but I walked past Emilio's Ski shop and saw that it closed. Anyone have any information on that? Seems like a big loss to the area; I know people came from all over to pick up the bus there for ski trips. Not to mention that it's just sad anytime a small business closes with the potential to be replaced by a cell phone store, bank or yet another pharmacy!
ReplyDeletewow- I wonder what region cuisine?! The name of the restaurant gives a clue maybe Shanghai?
ReplyDeleteI personally would love to see Xi'an Famous Food to open in Forest Hills.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see something finally happen after years of emptiness on a corner I'm only a block away from. Hopefully they find another tenant for the other half of the space too.
