Here's the new restaurant, White Radish American Kitchen, that is going into the former Jack & Nellie's space on Ascan. They have an outdoor seating area on the street that is being constructed as well.
They opened today, and the menu is posted on their website. It includes a few items reminiscent of Jack & Nellie's (truffle fries, mac and cheese, signature burger) as well as a raw bar, which is totally new: https://www.whiteradishnyc.com/menu
I'm wondering whether they will serve beer and wine; the menu only lists mocktails and coffee drinks. Not sure if that's because they're waiting for their beer and wine license.
I saw this under construction on Friday and stopped to ask about the new resto. We’ll miss J&N, but I am delighted to see something new going in.
