Jazz Thursday Returns!

Our annual neighborhood tradition is back!  August 15th and 22nd this year, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.  70th Road, between Queens Blvd. and Austin Street.  Free admission and seating will be available.

Jazz Thursdays - 2018 Edition

Just a reminder to everyone that Jazz Thursday returns to Forest Hills on August 16th & 23rd.  LA Blacksmith & Jazz Plus will perform a tribute to Herbie Hancock and Grover Washington on the 16th.  On the 23rd, Spanglish Fly Band takes the stage.

Steve spotted one of them fancy new "outer borough" green cabs roaring down Queens Blvd... By the way, don't get me started on this one. Personally, I don't quite get it. I think the boundaries between Manhattan and the "outer boroughs" are quickly blurring and I predict they will eventually be completely erased (maybe not in my lifetime, but eventually ;) ...  So, do we really need our own special cabs? I guess, probably? For now anyway? Discuss, or not...
