Wow! I've gotten a lot of reader emails and comments about what happened to Bath & Body Works on Austin Street. I had no idea this place was so popular! (And I am very much into soaps, the higher end the better, it's a thing of mine.) Anyway, the store is just currently undergoing a renovation and will be reopening in the Fall (I've been told October, but such dates can, of course, change)...
Friday's is also closed for renovation...
ReplyDeleteI haven't really shopped at Bath & Body Works since I was a teenager, but I still like having it around! And I've heard that their scented candles are actually pretty good!

ReplyDeleteI live on 76th Rd. down the street from Baluchi's and noticed yesterday they are finally working on the interior and have three new work permits in the front window.
DeleteI live down the block from Baluchi's and in the past year have seen little progress in construction but often see trucks parked out back and some activity that leads me to think maybe they are still using their kitchen and shipping the food off elsewhere. I hope they reopen as something better soon!
